RCIA – Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and Children of Catechetical Age
RCIA – Adults receive instruction in a small faith-sharing group that meets with a Catechist or the Director of Religious Education on a weekly basis in preparation for their full initiation into the Catholic Church on Easter Vigil.
RCIC – This is a program for children ages 8 through 16, who:
1. Are not baptized, and desire baptism, in the Catholic Church; or
2. Are baptized in another religion, and desire to be in Full Communion with the Catholic Church.
The students meet one on one with the Director of Religious Education and have age-appropriate instruction in the faith in order to be prepared to receive the sacraments.
