Mission Statement With the guidance of the Holy Spirit always before us, we the catechists of Saint Clement Mary Hofbauer Parish, journey with families in learning and growing in the knowledge of God’s love. Together with our Church community and through the teachings of Jesus we work to bring about the kingdom of God here on earth through a ministry of learning and compassion.
In order to be eligible for sacraments, children must have attended one year of religious education or Catholic school prior to entering the sacrament program.
First Reconciliation & Eucharist For children in 2nd grade and up, preparation is done mainly in the home by a parent.
Confirmation For young people in grades 9 and up, classes are held at the parish Monday evenings beginning in January and through the reception of Confirmation in the spring.
RCIC - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and Children of Catechetical Age This is a program for children ages 8 through 16, who: 1. Are not baptized, and desire baptism, in the Catholic Church; or 2. Are baptized in another religion, and desire to be in Full Communion with the Catholic Church.
Religious Education for Children not attending Catholic School These classes take place on Thursdays, September through May, from 6:30 to 7:45 PM for children entering kindergarten through high school.
Summer BibleCamp Our Bible Camp is open to children in grades pre-k through sixth, regardless of faith affiliation. It is held the last full week of June, from 9:30 AM to 12 Noon at our Church complex. The fun includes story telling, sharing, crafts, songs, games and snacks.
